Penny and Hal,
I am so deeply saddened for your loss, and so deeply touched by the intensity and vulnerability you are able to so bravely share with your community at this time. I cannot imagine the pain and grief you are going through, and yet you are finding the strength to tell us all that embodied your beautiful girl. I will never forget her sharing a photoshop "trick" with me years ago, and the pure joy that creating images brought to her! She was indeed special. My deepest sympathy.....

Dear Penny and Hal,
You raised an amazing daughter. We can't really imagine how difficult this must be for you and your family to accept that her fascinating life was so short. Yet she accomplished so much that she will be an inspiration to all the friends she left behind. I remember seeing her briefly at your house a couple of weeks ago and was struck how beautiful and full of life she was. We will keep that picture in our memory.

Dear Hal, Penny, Weston and Kiki,
Words cannot express the sorrow we feel in the loss of Taye. Your daughter/sister was an extraodinary talent all around. I still picture those cute little ears she wore as she soured over the jumps at May Day and the determination on her face to always finish strong during her nordic races. She was blessed with so many attributes, inner strengths, courage and of course her own style as a ski fashionista. I feel lucky to have watched her growth over the years on the mountain and know she inspired many skiers around her. She will be sorely missed. Please know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
