I met Taye when I was the assistant soccer coach for her U-11 team back in 2008. I remember herbeing somewhat shy, but she was also a hard worker and very determined. I was impressed with her
work ethic after seeing her improve greatly during the season. I also got to see her compete in dowhill
ski racing and some cycling races when I was a volunteer at MBSEF, so I know that she loved many sports.
We were very sorry to hear the news, but know that she lived life to the fullest.
