Condolences
Terri Edelsohn You are in our prayers June 28, 2014

Dear Penny, Hal, Weston and Kiki,
We are all so, so sad to hear about Taye.  My heart aches for you and I wish we could help ease some of your pain.  I read that someone descibed Taye as being spunky and that is exactly how I remember her.  Spunky and smart.  She had so much self confidence as a child and that no doubt came from the love she felt from all of you. She will be in our hearts forever.
Love,
Terri, Bruce, Sarah, Sam, and Sophie
Gloria Sanchez To My Dearest and Precious friend June 24, 2014

Dearest Penny and Family,

I grieve and I am deeply saddened by your loss. There is nothing I can possibly do or say to ease your pain. Just know that I love you dearly and that you and your family are in my prayers. I did not get the chance to meet Taye in person but I can see how many she touched with her beautiful personality in her lifetime.

Love,
Gloria

Carmen and I mourn and cry with for this great loss.  We are heart broken at the loss of Taye. We are at a loss of what we could do to ease your pain or help in any way - and know that only the supernatural love of God can comfort you in such a time.  We pray daily for you all and request with all our hearts that God, in His way and in His time will bring comfort and healing.  We love you guys so much and will continue to stand with and for you at all times.  We are so sorry we could not be there for the service. With love. Trent and Carmen (again)

Arlene Watkins Beautiful Memorial June 21, 2014

Dear Penny, Hal, Weston, and Kiki,

What a beautiful service for a gifted soul. I will keep the memorial card near me as I teach, so that Taye's soul can continue to reach others. Thank you for sharing and celebrating her life with all of us.
Carolyn Morinishi Taye as a classical Japanese dancer/ Age 4 June 21, 2014

Taye was always one of my favorite students because she was so spunky. Before you moved to Oregon, she gave me a picture of a girl in kimono that she had drawn. I framed it ... and that special picture traveled with me to Missouri and then back to California!

I'm sorry I'm not good with words so I don't even know what to say. But I think you know that I am the type of person who feels emotion from the bottom of my heart, so I am sending ALL my heartfelt love, hugs, support, aloha and prayers to your family at this difficult time. My entire family also sends their prayers. (Please let me know if there is ANYTHING I can do to help you...)

Love,
